Catching up on my (healthy) reading

Sundays are perfect for getting things done, like those task that you’ve put off throughout the week because there were so many other (fun) things you just had to do. For me, Sundays are a day of cleaning, washing clothes for the week, changing the bed linen, making the most of my trackies while looking uber stylish around the house, stocking up what spaces act as my pantry in my tiny kitchen, and stacking the trusty ol’ dishwasher. Wild, I know!
Once all those important, but still annoying, chores are done then I like to use what’s left of my Sundays for catching up on reading. While I usually get through a few chapters of my novel of choice before I go to bed each night, things like the paper and magazines often get forgotten until I have some time.
And that’s how I ended up with two editions of Women’s Health Magazine laying on my dining table, abandoned and unread. Feeling slightly guilty as a result of both my neglect and my diet of late I decided to make time in the afternoon to tackle them. With a latte and notebook in hand, I got to it. Compared to fashion mags or gossip rags, I always end up feeling inspired after reading something with a health and fitness focus. For me, it’s a great way to go into a brand new week with the right attitude.
