Styling statement tees

I am normally one for a classic tee, but lately I’ve had a wandering eye…

Gold, silver and bright colours are everywhere and they’ve recently invaded my wardrobe in the form of some fabulous and fun t-shirts.

It all started a few months ago when I was introduced to Gorman Clothing. For those who aren’t already familiar with the Gorman label, it’s a clothing company out of Melbourne offering “whimsical signature prints, directional knitwear and distinctive colour palettes” on organic or sustainable material.

Monochrome, metallics, nautical stripes and lobster prints…need I say more? It was love at first click. I picked up the caught in a net tee in yellow and pink, and the awesome gold dot tee.

For Christmas I was given a super cute Sportscraft top covered with tiny green hearts and in the Boxing Day sales I snapped up a silver and white loose-fitting Witchery tee.

With so many fun prints and colours, it’s fun to try and match them with other items in my wardrobe. While I have worn them with classic denim and black skirts, I would love to hear your styling suggestions. How do you like to wear bright and bold t-shirts?
