Holding out for Hawaii

Aloha bitches!

Oops – my enthusiasm at the fact than in just eleven weeks time I will be frolicking in Hawaii is showing in a rather undignified manner. #sorrynotsorry

That’s right, the gorgeous islands of Hawaii are calling my name and in about two-and-a-half months I will be touching down to white sandy beaches, colourful cocktails, serious shopping and fantastic weather.

This has all been made possible thanks to my lovely cousin who graciously decided to get married on the island of Kauai and invite the entire family to celebrate. I am a sucker for a good wedding and a sucker for travel so I could hardly resist!

My husband and I are using the destination wedding as an excuse for an extended visit to Hawaii and will spend one week on Kauai and one week at Waikiki.

We have accommodation sorted, but I would love to hear suggestions about things we can see, do, eat, drink and experience while we are there.

What would you recommend we add to our list for our Hawaiian holiday?

Mr Hubie recommends the cheesecake shop! Apparently it’s really nice to just to go out in the evening, wander and take in the sights.

Diamond Had is also worth a visit 🙂
