Lately, to my surprise, I have found myself considering chopping off all my locks again.
After almost two years of growing my hair out, of letting my tresses lengthen, I am starting to get the urge to change things up. I find myself admiring short, choppy bobs on Pinterest and blunt, shoulder-length cuts on my Instagram feed.
But considering how long it took to grow my hair out in the first place (it’s currently moved passed my bra strap), I am slightly hesitant to make such a big change.
The last time I went short was about three years ago and I loved it. But when I decided to grow my hair out again I was faced with that awkward not-quite-short-hair-but-not-quite-long-hair stage that seemed to last for months.
When was the last time you made a major change to your locks? Did you love or loathe it?
