The eighth week of my 12 Week Spring Fitness Challenge is underway and, even though the end is in sight, I’m not slowing down!
How I went in Week Seven:
My goals for the seventh week of the challenge were:
- Pass 10,000 steps:
I once again got very close to averaging 10,000 steps a day this week. Unfortunately after my little tumble the week before my knee was still sore and recovering, which slowed me down a little more than I would have liked.
- Get back in the pool:
I attended a MEGA Mums and Bobs Aqua class and also went for a casual swim with some girlfriends and our babies. I have been loving swimming this season and really want to keep it up.
- Push ups and planks:
I was aiming for 20 push-ups and a 30 second plank each day but only managed this three times.
Goals for Week Eight:
My goals for the eighth week of the challenge are:
Third times a charm: I have kept this goal in the rotation for the third week in a row because I desperately want to pass this target and beat 70,000 steps for the week!
Stretch sessions: I am aiming to complete three stretching sessions this week to help with my flexibility and some tightness across my arms and back from carrying a small human around.
Weights sessions: I also want to complete three free weights sessions with a focus on my triceps.
60 squats: Unlike a few weeks ago, this time I’m going to remember to complete 60, and not 50, squats every day!
