Starting the new year with new beauty

Forget new year’s resolutions, in 2022 I’m starting the year right with some beauty products that I’ve been wanting to try for ages!

  • Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops: I had seen this skincare product everywhere I looked for months and wasn’t sure if it could live up to the hype. It’s a dewy niacinamide serum meets highlighter and is also used as a primer under makeup for serious glow.
  • Naked Sundays Hydrating Glow Mist SPF50+: An SPF50+ mist that allows you to top up during the day without ruining your make-up is basically a dream product and this gem from Naked Sundays doesn’t disappoint. It has a fine spray and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy or make your make-up run.
  • Clarins Lip Comfort Oil in honey glam *PR gift: Still live for lip oils and the Clarins oils had been on my radar for years. I was very kindly gifted a few to try with no obligation to post, but the honey glam version really impressed me. It’s quite a natural finish but with a hint of golden sparkle and super nourishing.
  • Hourglass Cosmetics Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light: Last year I finally used complimentary Mecca Beauty make-up application, the lovely make-up artist applied this bronzer and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Thankfully “Santa” made sure it was in my Christmas stocking! Like so many Hourglass products it’s glorious – beautiful tones and a glowy finish.

While they aren’t all brand new products, they are all new to me. What new products are on your beauty radar?
